Classic Coffee Cake




As with about any coffee cake, you can add endless options. Raisins, nuts, fruit, dried fruit, or additional layers of the cinnamon mixture. Make it your own as I always say. 












CLASSIC COFFEE CAKE

Ingredients
1/2 lb butter
1 cup brown sugar - (packed)
1 cup sugar
2 cups all purpose-flour
1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 cup golden raisins (optional)
2 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp baking soda

Directions
Preheat oven to 350

Mix first 5 ingredients and set aside.

Mix Baking soda with sour cream and set aside.

Mix butter, sugars, flour, cinnamon together and take out about 1/2 cup out to use for topping and set aside.
Add eggs to remaining mixture and mix well. Add sour cream and raisins and nuts.

Butter and flour a 9x13 pan, pour batter into pan and sprinkle the 1/2 cup sugar/flour mixture on top.

Bake at 305 for 35 minutes
