Ingredients
2 cups ketchup
1 cup dark molasses
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon mace
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Combine all ingredients into a saucepan and cook over low heat. As soon as your molasses dissolves, take it off the heat.
This sauce will store in a sealed container for up to a month, as long as it is refrigerated.
Yields 3 cups
