Angle Food Cake Kabobs

Bring the kids in the kitchen

This is so easy and so fun, personalize it with your favorite fruit.

Wash and slice the fruit, call the kids and let them assemble their own creations.
ANGLE FOOD CAKE KABOBS

Ingredients:

One store bought Angle Food Cake
Fresh Fruit
1 package Kabob Sticks
Chocolate Syrup

Directions:
Not that you really need directions.

Cut angle food cake into 1 inch squares and set aside.

Clean and remove tops of strawberries, set aside.

If using pineapple or other fruit, just make sure the chunks are large enough to stay on the stick but still small enough to be bite size.

Alternate fruit and cake on stick, place on wax paper and drizzle with chocolate syrup.

This is the perfect recipe for kids, no cooking involved, give them a choice of fruits, pineapple, strawberries, apples, or pears. Try to avoid real soft fruits, they don't stay on the stick very well. Let them be creative. The possibilities are endless.
