Spirit of July Layer Cake





SPIRIT OF JULY
No recipe needed for this cake 

Quick & easy to put together with just a few ingredients.

Cut a store-bought angel food (or pound cake) into layers
I like to use a mixture of a jar of lemon curd and 8 oz. of cream cheese







Beat together 8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature) and a jar of lemon curd until smooth. 

Spread on bottom later, add berries,(or fresh fruit of your choice) top with next layer. Repeat on each layer adding a small amount to the top layer and finish with more berries. 

Not a fan of cream cheese, feel free to use your favorite filling, pudding, whipped cream, mascarpone cheese or any combination you like.
